If you attend a FLOPS meeting you can expect a relaxed, welcoming gathering of beer lovers—novices and seasoned brewers alike. The group meets to share knowledge about brewing techniques, taste homebrews, and connect with people who take beer seriously. You don’t need to be a member to attend. Expect good conversation, plenty of samples, and folks happy to teach or learn. The meetings generally open with a toast, followed by a short social session to taste homebrew. After that, club business is discussed, usually followed by a short education segment. The meeting concludes with voting for Brewer of the Month, where members decide whose beer is the best!
