- This quarter will always be a pre-prohibition style going forward in preparation for the HAM Hop-Off event (see below).

Siloam Springs Home Brew Showcase
- Great event, good to connect with Siloam brewers
- Ben Farhner won the brewer’s choice & BJCP judging

- 2 new brewers tied for frontier award, both also scored really well in BJCP judging

- James Harvey was absent. Reviewed upcoming events from last month.
HAM Hop-Off!
- July 10, 5–6pm at the Historic Arkansas Museum (HAM) in Little Rock, AR
- There will be one table shared with all NWA brewers (FLOPS & OZ).
- Entries have already closed, but members are welcome to hang out and meet folks from CAF (Central Arkansas Fermenters).
- Pre-prohibition styles only
- The hotel with rooms reserved for brewers is the Holiday Inn Little Rock – Presidential Downtown. Nearby but not quite walking distance.

Washington County Charities
- Members had no recommendations at this time. David Johnson will ask again next month.
- OZ will be doing the NWA Food Bank on the 27th from 9–11 AM if members are interested in joining.

New Business
Big Brew Day 2026
- The club needs to decide what to do with their share of the pre-prohibition porter. Kevin Elsken has 8–9 gallons available.
- Members decided to reserve 1 keg for events and bottle the rest.

Education
- Ty Weston presented on the FLOPSperiment.
Miscellaneous
- James Harvey mentioned that this month’s issue of Zymurgy has an article about Rauchbier for members who are planning to brew this style for Iron Brewer.
- James Harvey mentioned that tomorrow’s (June 19, 2026) World Cup game will be on at the Fermentary and they will have half-price beers.
- Alex Smith proposed having a club social event at Mad Rooster for their 3rd anniversary on June 27th at 2 PM.
- Ben Farhner made a motion to accept the proposal, David Johnson seconded the motion, and members approved it with a vote
- Keith Linn mentioned that the new brewery off of Highway 12, Arkansas Trails Brewing, looks close to opening.
- Ty Weston proposed a monthly or bi-monthly drawing for members to receive the cost of a brew. Members would have to be present to win, must have intention for the beer to go to a serving event, and would only be eligible once per year.
- The club may put together a committee to discuss this proposal.
- David Johnson proposed making a direct donation to the Women’s Shelter or Siloam Springs Center for the Arts.
- James Harvey mentioned his daughter-in-law has started a charity called The Fourth Trimester for women who don’t have maternity leave benefits. He proposed putting on an event in conjunction with Mad Rooster to support the charity, similar to the NWA Women’s Shelter event.
- Keith Linn proposed forming a committee to develop ideas around this.
Meeting closed at 8:43 PM, opening up to GODS, the Greater Ozark Drinking Society.
